Some shows are about the bikes. Others remind you why you love the bicycle industry in the first place. BESPOKED Osaka managed to do both. 🇯🇵
Our first time attending BESPOKED in Japan was one for the books. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by friendly faces, incredible craftsmanship, and a community of people who share our appreciation for thoughtfully designed bicycles and beautifully made components.
And the bikes? Absolutely incredible.
A Celebration of Craftsmanship
Walking the show floor was a reminder of just how much creativity, skill, and passion exist in the handmade bicycle world. Every frame, every carefully chosen component, and every little detail told a story about the person who built it and the rider who would eventually take it out into the world.
We saw some seriously beautiful bikes, met talented builders, and had countless conversations about the details that make this industry so special. It’s hard not to get inspired when you’re surrounded by people who care this much about what they make.
For a company like White Industries, where we machine our hubs, cranks, and other components in-house in Petaluma, California, these are the kinds of gatherings that mean a lot. We know the time, thought, and skill that go into making something well, and it’s a pleasure to be surrounded by others who share that same appreciation.

The Best Part? The People.
As impressive as the bikes were, the people made the experience.
From the builders and exhibitors to the riders and visitors who stopped by to chat, the warmth and enthusiasm throughout the show made us feel right at home. We came to Osaka to share what we do, but we left with new connections, fresh inspiration, and plenty of reasons to keep coming back.
It’s easy to get caught up in specifications, materials, machining tolerances, and the endless pursuit of making a component just a little bit better. But at the heart of cycling is a community of people who genuinely love bikes and love talking about them.
BESPOKED Osaka was a wonderful reminder of that. Big thank you to Tomo at Fukaya for all the help with getting our booth together. We couldn’t have done it without you.

Thank You, Osaka!
We’re incredibly grateful to the BESPOKED team for bringing the show to Japan and giving us the opportunity to be part of its first edition. Thank you to everyone who stopped by the White Industries booth, asked questions, shared a story, talked shop, or simply came over to say hello.
And to all the builders who displayed their work: thank you for giving us so much to admire. The talent on display was extraordinary, and we’re already looking forward to seeing what you create next.
Traveling from Petaluma to Osaka was well worth it. We returned home with great memories, new friendships, and a little extra inspiration to bring back to the shop.

Until Next Year!
Our first BESPOKED Japan experience was a special one, and we couldn’t be happier that we were there.
We’re proud to be part of a global cycling community that values craftsmanship, creativity, and making things the right way. Whether it’s a beautifully built frame or a precision-machined hub, the passion behind the product is what makes it special.
Osaka, thank you for having us. We had a fantastic time, and we can’t wait to come back next year!
Until then, we’ll be back in Petaluma doing what we do best: making bicycle components, one carefully machined part at a time.
Made in Petaluma. Connected by bikes.
