    Bottom Bracket Bearings

Since 1996 White Industries has partnered with the folks at Enduro to ensure that the bearings we install in all our products are of the highest standards.  Along the way Enduro has continually sought out better materials, seals, greases, tolerances and manufacturing techniques to stay on the cutting edge of bearing development and performance.  Our hubs come standard with Enduro high-carbon chromium steel bearings which have the best price/performance ratio, but if you are seeking the absolute pinnacle of bearing performance, we also offer Enduro XD15’s which features ceramic balls rotating in aerospace developed, nitrogen-infused, super-stainless-steel bearing races and come with a limited lifetime warranty.

  • Bottom Bracket Spindle Spacer Kits

    Bottom Bracket Spindle Spacer Kits

With all the different bottom bracket styles, frame manufacturers, and component makers out there you’re bound to run into situations where spindle spacers may be needed to make your particular frame/crank/bottom bracket combination fit correctly together.  Because there’s no way for us to know what your particular situation might be, we offer “kits” to cover a wide variety of combinations.

We offer three spindle kits for 24mm, 29mm and 30mm spindles.  The 24mm and 30mm spindle kits also come with one “wavy” washer which goes on the spindle and acts as a bearing “preload” mechanism for crank arms that do not use a built-in bearing preload adjuster.

    Specs

    • The 24mm spindle kit includes:
      • Two .5mm spindle spacer, nylon
      • Three 1mm spindle spacers, aluminum
      • Two 2.5mm spindle spacers, aluminum
      • One 24mm wavy washer, steel
      • Spacers/wavy washer go between the bottom bracket seals and the crank arm
      • Fits 24mm spindle cranks such as Shimano, etc.
    • The 29mm spindle kit includes:
      • Two .5mm spindle spacer, nylon
      • Three 1mm spindle spacers, aluminum
      • Two 2.5mm spindle spacers, aluminum
      • No wavy washer
      • Spacers sit between the bottom bracket seals and the crank arm
      • Fits SRAM DUB 29mm spindle cranks
    • The 30mm spindle kit includes:
      • Two .5mm spindle spacer, nylon
      • Three 1mm spindle spacers, aluminum
      • Two 2.5mm spindle spacers, aluminum
      • One 30mm wavy washer, steel
      • Spacers/wavy washer sit between the bottom bracket seals and the crank arm
      • Fits 30mm spindle cranks such as White Industries, etc.

  • External T47 Bottom Bracket

    External T47 Bottom Bracket

The White Industries External T47 Bottom Bracket delivers smooth performance, exceptional durability, and long-lasting reliability for today’s road, gravel, and mountain bikes. We machine, polish, engrave, and assemble every bottom bracket in our Petaluma, California facility. As a result, every bottom bracket reflects the precision craftsmanship riders have trusted from White Industries for more than 30 years.

White Industries helped develop the T47 bottom bracket standard in 2016 to solve common frame design challenges while improving serviceability. The larger threaded shell provides more room for oversized frame tubes and allows space for internally routed cables and wires. At the same time, it retains the simplicity and reliability of a threaded bottom bracket.

Every External T47 Bottom Bracket features premium Enduro bearings for smooth, efficient performance and long service life. Choose between durable Enduro stainless steel angular contact bearings or upgrade to Enduro XD-15 ceramic-hybrid radial bearings for even greater performance and corrosion resistance.

We offer three bearing sizes to ensure compatibility with a wide range of cranksets. Whether you’re running a White Industries crank or another manufacturer’s crankset, there’s an External T47 Bottom Bracket designed to fit your build.

The External T47 Bottom Bracket is designed for 68mm and 73mm wide T47 threaded bottom bracket shells. Its bearings sit outside the frame shell, providing additional spindle clearance for compatible cranksets. If your frame uses an 86mm or 92mm wide T47 shell, you’ll need one of our Internal T47 Bottom Brackets instead.

Because bottom bracket standards vary between frame and crank manufacturers, we recommend confirming your frame’s shell width and your crank spindle diameter before ordering. This ensures the correct fit and years of smooth, trouble-free performance.

Whether you’re upgrading your drivetrain or building a custom bike from the ground up, the White Industries External T47 Bottom Bracket delivers the precision, durability, and American-made quality your bike deserves.

    Product Details

The “T” stands for “threaded” and the “47” is the nominal 47mm outside thread diameter of the cup. T47 bottom bracket cups are not compatible with the much smaller (and more common) threaded BSA BB shells.  The “internal” designation on this bottom bracket refers to the fact that the bearings sit “inboard” of 86mm and 92mm wide bottom bracket shells, as opposed to our “external” T47 bottom brackets where the bearings sit “outboard” of 68mm and 73mm wide bottom bracket shells.  If you have a 68mm or 73mm wide T47 bottom bracket shell on your frame, you will need one of our “external” T47 bottom brackets.
