Description
These hardware sets are needed to mount VBC 2x chainrings to outer VBC 2x chainrings. If you are purchasing a VBC chainring “set” the hardware is already included and the rings will be assembled together. There are two types of VBC 2x chainrings, v1 for the older 9-11 speed rings, and v2 for the new 9-12 speed rings. Refer to the tech docs below for information on how to identify which version rings you have and installation instructions.
You would need a hardware set if:
- You are purchasing separate VBC 2x inner and outer rings
- You need this hardware to bolt the rings together
- You lost some of your hardware when working on your bike
- Some other odd reason we’re not aware of
