    Freewheel Outer Gears

    Product Details

When we designed our freewheels we intentionally made them rebuildable rather than disposable.  If you ride a lot, eventually you are going to need a new outer gear.  We recommend replacing your chain (and probably your chainring too) when replacing your outer gear because worn out chains don’t usually work well with new outer gears.

    • Bearings are are made from chromium steel, and use a special Mobil XHP222 extra high pressure grease

    Freewheel Bearings

    Product Details

Just a note that we don’t sell many freewheel bearings by themselves.  Usually if the bearing goes bad, your outer gear is probably worn out too.  The outer gears come with a bearing and snap ring installed so if you’re purchasing a new outer gear, you don’t need to purchase a separate bearing.  Our freewheel bearings are Enduro brand chromium steel and use a special Mobil XHP222 extra high pressure grease.
