Description
Pawls, springs, and drivers usually last a long time and if your freewheel sounds fine and isn’t skipping, you probably don’t need new ones. But sometimes things break, and sometimes parts fall on the floor and disappear under the workbench.
Specs
- Count the number of “clicks” in one rotation of your freewheel to determine of you have a “36 Point Standard Engagement” or “72 Point High Engagement” system.
- 36 point systems have 3 pawls and 3 springs
- 72 point systems have 6 pawls and 6 springs
- “36 Point Standard Engagement Pawls/Springs” kit include 3 pawls and 3 springs
- “72 Point High Engagement Pawls/Springs” kit include 6 pawls and 6 springs
- “36 Point Standard Engagement Freewheel Driver” kit include 3 pawls and 3 springs
- “72 Point High Engagement Freewheel Driver” kit include 6 pawls and 6 springs
- “Freewheel Spring” sold individually
