Description
The V2 VBC (Variable Bolt Circle) inner chainring is designed for Shimano and SRAM 9–12 speed 2x drivetrains, including Shimano 105, Ultegra, GRX, and Dura-Ace (9–12 speed) and SRAM Apex, Rival, and Red (10–12 speed), in both mechanical and electronic configurations.
As part of the VBC system, this inner ring mounts to a compatible VBC outer ring, allowing multiple inner ring sizes to be used with the same outer ring. The system supports up to five different inner ring sizes and offers as many as 33 possible gear combinations across the range.
The V2 inner ring has been completely redesigned with updated tooth profiles and shift ramp geometry for improved shifting performance. It features refined machining details to work seamlessly with the V2 outer ring, including compatibility with five shift pins and a replaceable chain catch pin when paired as a complete set.
Like all V2 VBC components, this inner chainring is backwards compatible with all White Industries MR30 series cranks and White Industries direct mount square taper cranks, however it is not compatible V1 outer rings. For a complete set you will need a V2 outer ring and hardware.
