About Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship
Sierra Buttes Trail Stewardship (SBTS) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to building, maintaining, and advocating for sustainable trail systems in the Sierra Buttes region of Northern California. Through hands-on trail construction, long-term stewardship, youth programs, and community engagement, SBTS protects access to public lands while creating trails designed to last.
Their work goes beyond trail building. SBTS focuses on education, workforce development, and responsible recreation—ensuring trails are not only rideable today, but preserved for future generations.
