Since 1996 White Industries has partnered with the folks at Enduro to ensure that the bearings we install in all our products are of the highest standards. Along the way Enduro has continually sought out better materials, seals, greases, tolerances and manufacturing techniques to stay on the cutting edge of bearing development and performance.
Most of the bottom bracket bearings we use today are ABEC 3 440c stainless steel to resist corrosion common in the bottom bracket area. The 30mm and 24mm stainless bearings use an angular contact design. We also spec a special Kluber 72-72 grease with LLB seals on all bottom bracket bearings.
If you are seeking the absolute pinnacle of bearing performance, we offer Enduro XD-15 ceramic bearings as an upgrade. They feature oversized Grade 3 silicon nitride ceramic balls mated to nitrogen-infused martensitic stainless steel races that are precision machined and ground to ABEC-5 tolerances. They also feature a limited lifetime warranty!
