Our crank arms are machined out of billet aluminum. The engineers here at White Industries have employed a rigid box shaped crank design yielding a crank that is extremely stiff and yet light weight. The box design allows power to be transferred directly into the crank arms rather than dissipated and lost which can happen with a more flexible, less rigid crank design. Another design feature on all our cranks is the spline interface between the chain ring and the crank arm. A simple lock ring holds the ring in place and the cranks become versatile for multiple gear ratios a benefit since ratios are usually dependent upon the bolt circle of the crank arm.
